Gift certificates let customers purchase store credit for others.
How It Works
- Customer purchases a gift certificate on the storefront.
- Recipient receives an email with a unique redemption code.
- Recipient enters the code at checkout to apply the credit.
Configuration
Manage gift certificates in Admin > Settings > Gift Certificates:
- Set available denominations or allow custom amounts
- Create certificates manually for returns or promotions
- Track all balances and usage
Partial Redemption
Certificates support partial use — the remaining balance is tracked and available for future orders.
