A CNAME (Canonical Name) record is a type of DNS record that maps one domain name to another. It allows you to use your own custom domain name for your CubeCart store.
When you sign up for CubeCart Hosting, your store is created with a temporary *.mycubecart.com address. A CNAME record lets you point your own domain (e.g. www.example.com) to this address, so customers visit your store using your brand name.
